Sometimes it is about the journey! One of the most stunning hikes in the world takes you through the traces of the Nabaetean city of Petra through the Siq, a natural rock formation and waterway to Wadi Musa. The architecture is cut from the mountain rock as well as the water conduit systems thriving in 312 BC. In 106 AD the Romans ruled the region and may have gotten ideas for their water systems from this ancient culture.
